Caregiving Experience/History
With over 13 years of experience as an EMT and paramedic, I have dedicated my career to providing urgent, life-saving care while upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and patient advocacy. My work in emergency response has reinforced the critical importance of preventative health, nutrition, a partner in a herbal medicine company Vajra Botanicals (5 years), owner of Healing Pathways a healing center (13 years in Hawaii) and holistic wellness—principles that align with my certification as a whole food chef and my deep knowledge of natural healing modalities.
For 26 years, I have specialized in massage therapy, with a current focus on hospice and palliative care, offering comfort and pain relief to those navigating terminal illness. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques with compassionate touch, recognizing that healing extends beyond physical symptoms to emotional and spiritual well-being.
Now transitioning into death doula work, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and heart-centered support to guide individuals and families through end-of-life transitions. My services include:
Legacy project assistance (memory books, recordings, ethical wills)
Practical care coordination (home organization, respite for caregivers)
Emotional and spiritual companionship (active listening, ritual creation)
Education on natural pain management (herbal remedies, therapeutic touch)

I believe in honoring each person’s autonomy and dignity, whether through emergency interventions, nutritional guidance, or end-of-life care. My practice is rooted in the understanding that food is medicine, community is vital, and every life deserves reverence.
Beyond clinical skills, I am known for my efficiency, patience, and ability to meet households’ practical needs—from meal preparation to light housekeeping—ensuring families can focus on what matters most.
Let’s collaborate to create a space where healing, whether physical or existential, is met with competence and kindness.

Bio
At 57, I embrace a life deeply rooted in self-reliance, natural wellness, and mindful living. My daily rhythm revolves around the simple yet profound joys of walking my dogs through beautiful landscapes, where the harmony of nature reinforces my connection to the Earth. These walks are more than exercise—they are a form of meditation, a way to ground myself in the present moment while appreciating the life-sustaining power of clean air, sunlight, and the natural world.
Gardening is my passion, and I like to cultivate my own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. There is deep satisfaction in harvesting fresh produce, knowing it carries the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that modern diets often lack.
Meditation is my sanctuary, a practice that sharpens my awareness and strengthens my resilience. It reminds me that true health extends beyond the physical—it encompasses mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual alignment. This holistic approach to well-being guides my choices, from the food I grow to the natural remedies.
I spent four magical year practicing organic farming in the cloud forest in Costa Rica, so I do know some Spanish however I am primarily English speaking.
